Our Story

The Barney Family Foundation was established in 1998 by Stephen and Lynne Barney. The Barney Family Foundation was born out of the Barneys’ desire to aid those financially less fortunate. It is the goal of the Foundation to offer people an opportunity for a new beginning.

Our Grants

The Barney Family Foundation, is a 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Foundation’s focus is mainly on early education and health research. While there are occasional deviations from these areas, they are not common. ​
